The Liveability Index examines 140 cities worldwide. Each city is assigned a liveability score for more than 30 qualitative and quantitative factors across five categories: stability, healthcare, culture and environment, education and infrastructure.

In 2002, Princes Hill Secondary College was selected as one of six schools in the City of Yarra to be a part of the Sustainable Schools Project.
